SL Status

SecondLife is a fascinating opportunity that is only practical for the your Bleeding Edge adopters. SL value comes from the exploration, but not from the implementation. For all that you can do in SL you can do much easier in RealLife. But doing it in SL may be justified because of the TechnoSocial aspects that may be important in a specific Teaching & Learning process. We have a few power users who probably spend way too much time in SL. So buying them some land was like outfitting a wagon train to cross America in the early 1800’s. The feedback I get from that small investment is extremely valuable for helping me understand where Cyber Learning may be going.
